Topic: DIY RO Water Storage / Holding

My RO water system upgrade used to consist of two trash cans. Now, I’ve swapped those out for food-grade barrels: the top barrel holds fresh RODI water, and the bottom contains saltwater. This upgrade has been a game-changer!

The last two pictures show my old setup, which had no lids and only held 20 gallons each. These containers bowed when full, and I had to scoop water out with a gallon pitcher. With the new system, I simply turn a valve. It’s all gravity-fed, requiring no power at all.
