Care Instructions & Compatibility

Habitat & Diet

Seahorses appreciate some moderate flow with areas in the tank for resting when desired. If using powerheads or wave makers in larger tanks, be sure they are appropriately covered so that Seahorses will not be pulled in or get apendages caught. A nylon bag or stocking, or some sort of mesh can work. These captive-bred specimens are fully eating frozen mysis shrimp, feed multiple times daily for optimal health and coloration.

Behavior & Tank Mates

Non-aggressive and slow-moving. Best kept with other peaceful species, avoid fast feeders or fin-nippers.

Behavior	Peaceful species coexist well with others and do not exhibit territorial aggression. They thrive in stable environments and are generally tolerant of neighbors. Some peaceful corals may grow rapidly under ideal conditions, occasionally shading out smaller organisms.
Examples Fish	Clownfish – Social fish that forms bonds with anemones and rarely show aggression. Royal Gramma – Passive but will defend its hiding spot if threatened. Gobies – Bottom dwellers known for their cooperative nature with tank mates. Blennies – Calm, reef-safe fish with minimal territorial instincts. Chromis – Schooling fish that thrive in peaceful community tanks. Tangs – Generally peaceful but may display minor territorial behavior, especially toward other tangs.
