| Care Instructions & Compatibility |
| Habitat & Diet |
Seahorses appreciate some moderate flow with areas in the tank for resting when desired. If using powerheads or wave makers in larger tanks, be sure they are appropriately covered so that Seahorses will not be pulled in or get apendages caught. A nylon bag or stocking, or some sort of mesh can work. These captive-bred specimens are fully eating frozen mysis shrimp, feed multiple times daily for optimal health and coloration.
|
| Behavior & Tank Mates |
Non-aggressive and slow-moving. Best kept with other peaceful species, avoid fast feeders or fin-nippers.
|
| Visual Appeal |
Its upright swimming and curling tail behavior make it a mesmerizing focal point in any marine setup.
|
| Benefits |
Captive-bred seahorses reduce pressure on wild populations and adapt better to aquarium conditions, making them a responsible and rewarding choice for marine enthusiasts.
